ALL Possible in God

Last Saturday (30 Aug 2014) was an unforgettable day for me. I joined a Youth camp in Fraser Hill. Every participator was divided into 10 groups. Each group 10 to 11 people.

There were 11 people in my group. 1 from Subang , 1 from Klang, 1 from Gombak, 1 from Kuching, 2 from Penang, 2 from JB, 3 from Sabah.

Saturday night, there was a game call as “choice a leader”.

1.      Firstly, we need to point out people who we want him to become a leader.

2.      After that, the people have to point out other people to become a leader.

3.      Lastly, people who stand left side of the “second” leader have to become the group leader.

Final result in my group: I became a group leader.

 

That night, we discuss our group’s name, did a flat, crown, and slogan together. What a beautiful night when we made our task together in one heart ツ

The second task was “Write Lyrics”. I think that was the most headache task for people who don’t know music like me. Of course, it’s difficult if does it alone! That’s why team members are important to make everything become easier.

That night, 3 to 4 members in my group were staying with me to complete the task. We had done the song around 11pm. As a leader, I felt comfortable when they willing to stay back and done this difficult task with me.

Next day (Sunday morning), we were playing a Treasure Hunt.

What a tired game for me?! Because I have to run, run, run, like a running man! My head was wearing a crown and another group will come and take it away. That’s the main reason why I have to run.  

After a long jog, we will meet a new task/game in different station. Each of every station had a special task to be done. I enjoy those games because my group was in one heart. In each of every task, we had a fast discussion and understanding.

Throughout the long journey (Treasure Hunt), I actually can feel the caring of my group member. They protect me, caring one and each other; we walk together, give support and selfie together, haha.

Never mind; is okay; come! you can do it! Slowly, don’t be rushed or panic… and I actually felt touched when they ask “where is our king.” They ask me to walk center and pay full attention for me.

On the half way I really felt that I’m weak, so I am asking “why this crown must on my head? Is not safety because I’m short, the crown is easy to plunder by another group!” Guess how they comfort me?

“No, the crown is safety because we are here to protect you! And somehow they won’t be easy to spot you out because you are tiny, so it’s good that the crown is on your head.”

               As a group leader, I never experience that much in my life. I really get touched by them. And I don’t consider myself was a leader, but is one part of them. We are in a group name “All possible in God!”

The last game was the most tired game! One of my members ran 7 times to get the correct key! I was actually ready to run if he still fails to get the correct key to open a door. Thanks God mission completes! I saw my group members came back with happiness!  

We had done the Treasure Hunt 1 hour before the time end. The time end of 12.30pm, but we have done at 11.30am.

Their voices are still fresh in my mind. I can’t forget how they encourage me until moved me to share in front of them. I shared because I care. I want them to know how appreciate am I same group with them. I enjoyed every moment with them and I surely will always remember this group in my life.

That night we won the first prize in Treasure Hunt. As a leader, I had been asking for, giving a speech. When we went out to get the prize, they were standing in a straight line. Their eyes were looking and me and ask me to share what I had shared them before. That was my first time stand on the stage to give a speech. I get the confidence and courage from them and share my experience in front of a hundred people.

Now, let’s put my member name over here. Raymond, Geng Kee, Joshua Ling, Yong Song, Dennis, Kalil, Rachel, Naomi, Jie Yin, and Grace. Nice to gather with all of you! May God bless all of us 💟
